OK, so one of my favorite forms of photography is editorial storytelling. I find it easy to walk up to strangers and engage them in conversation (after which I take their picture!)
Here's some images from our local dog show, the result of which rewarded me with fun images and interesting stories.

After shows all day, these two were exhausted and finally going home. Talk about looking dog tired (HA!)

A sudden noise is heard. Nevertheless, the owner continues to hold up his dog's stubby tail.

Sometimes owners resemble their dogs. This lovely owner's hair matches her dog's ears perfectly

The dog & owner relationship is always loving, despite the rigors of a 3-day dog show.

I posed this owner while his doggy kissed him. The dog also had a beard, making an interesting composition of two beards doing battle.

While taking this photograph, the dog glared at me as if to say 'back off, buddy!'. So, I did. :-)

Yep, that's exactly what this owner kept telling her dog as I stood there bemused. Rex only heard "blah blah Rex blah blah" and stared intently.

This wonderful gentlemen explained how his dog's ears were, indeed, too big but it would only be a passing phase since Mr. Tibbs was still just an awkward teenager.

'What's a Bully Stick?' I innocently asked standing near the dog treats. "They're uncured bull penis!" Greasy and bad smelling, I wonder what the bulls think?
